    Walking Eagle is the pseudonym for the Before the Rain Trio in their "new-age" or mellow configuration. Opposed to their "aggressive world-beat jazz" sound, this is calmer, more relaxing: assertive world-beat jazz, if you will. This album features Dick O'Connell on guitars and looping, Dugg Spalding on drums and percussion, and Richard Ball on Native flutes, world flutes, silver flute, soprano saxophone, morin-khuur (a Mongolian bowed instrument) and other assorted instruments.
